Call for Entries-UPDATE
Fukushima Response Bay Area in collaboration with the Berkeley Fellowship of Unitarian Universalists poetry committee and the BFUU social justice committee is producing an anthology of poems about the ongoing disaster at Fukushima Daiichi. We are looking for original poetry in English or with English translation. Previously published poems OK with publication information. Poems should be three pages or less. Shorter poems are more likely to be included due to space considerations. Poets will receive a free copy of the ebook. The book will also be published as a Print on Demand paperback with standard distribution. The poets retain all rights to their work. Please submit up to 5 poems to fukushimapoetry@gmail.com.
Due to popular demand the deadline has been extended to March 15, 2014. We are especially hoping for more poems from Japan and the Pacific Rim. The editors are excited about the outstanding poems we have received for the anthology thus far. Please tell your poet friends about this project!
